Hey i recently went to best buy today and i saw the amp that i need specs wise its a rockfard fosegate 1200 watt amp at best buy for only $159.99 it will be wired up 2 12's audiobahn 500 watts a piece do you think that amp would be good and is that a good price? let me know thanks

Yeah its only $159 at a store over by me would that be a good amp though for my subs cause my 2 subs 2gether are 1000 so would that make em hit?

So the 1000 watt amp has a msrp of $899.99 and you are getting a 1200 watt version for $159.99? I think you are confused somewhere. Call BB and get the model number just to make sure you aren't confusing rms and peak power ratings. I just find it hard to believe that you would find a deal like that at Best Buy. If so, jump on it tho...

1200 watts will make **** near anything move nicely aside from subs made for spl competitions.

If you are getting the 1200.2 for that price, you could buy it and sell if for enough money to buy another amp and some real subs.
