Would this idea of an amp enclosure work?

Alright, not having much trunk space and wanting something that will look kinda showy (Our town does weekly car shows just for fun), I'm thinking of building an enclosure for my amps, hard drive, etc. Why an enclosure? Well, I have even less of a backseat, and sometimes I need to transport things that can only fit in my trunk. This way, I can close it and put my stuff on top of it and not worry. This will only be a couple inches taller that my tallest amp, and my sub will be on a platform to rise it slightly higher than the floor.

Now, the enclosure, like I said, will have my amps and what-not. I need circulation, so I'm putting two 120mm fans on the lid, with ducts pointing twords eachother. One would obviously be an intake, and the other an exaust, and they'd of course be on either end of the enclosure.

Also, I'm thinking of having my intake fan at about where my port for my sub box is, taking the already fast-traveling, cool air, and putting it right on the amps.

Then, the lid can be easliy removed for shows.

Does this sound like it should work? Or would it come back and bite me in the ***, and overheat my amps?

It should work with the push/pull configuration of the fans. But the whole port thing won't really make a difference. Air goes both in and out of the port. It doesn't just come out, where would it come from? So the fan actually might have a harder time moving that air because it is so turbulent in the first place.

Ah crap, I"m retarded! Lol, sorry, that idea came to me late at night after an 8 hour shift at work //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif. Anyways, alright, I'll mess around with the config of the fans.

As far as the meterial, probably 3/4" wood, then carpeted.
