I apologize, it's not that it won't work, it's rather very, very limited in it's capabilities. What you gain in going active is totally defeated by a unit that has preset, limited options.thank you jdawg.

With a unit like that you might as well just use a passive crossover. You're not really gaining anything.
Active crossovers don't need to be complicated, but a variable (via potentiometer) crossover point is critical, and really the biggest benefit of going active.
