would this be a hasty decision?

i just saved up about$200 to get a good tint job on my car....but i just found out that it would be a better idea to wait to do that in the spring. so...that leaves me with 200 to start my car audio system.

to start i have an aftermarket sony headunit, don't know any specs on it. with apline type S 6.5" coaxials allround. now for the bass.

i am left with four choices on the subs:

1. 10" RE SE $140 + shipping

2. 12" Alpine type R $100 + shipping

3. 12" Infinity Kappa D + $140 + shipping

4. 2 - 12" Infinity Reference $150 shipped

im leaning towards the 2 reference's b/c it's $150 for both shipped. (which leaves me some money to build a box)

im going for good SQ (w/ the ability to get loud) INSIDE the car.

i wont be doing compititions.

my problem is, is i like the look of 2 subs. and if i choose anything but the reference, i will have to buy a second down the road.

the specs on the refernece.

Infinity Refernece 1232

300W / 1200W

wiring in 2 ohms or 8 ohms

i will be getting a profile amp for whatever sub i get, and if i got the 2 reference. i was leaning towards the CL800 which is 300W x 2 (at 2ohms) unless ya'll think it'd be better to use the CL1200 which is 450W x 2 (at 2 ohms) a $50 difference.

guys i need help, i don't want to make a too hasty decision in which ill be making up for it by being force to buy another sub/amp 6months from now

The SE, 2 subs may look meaner, but the one sub has more capabilites and output than the other 2. Dont judge a book by it's cover.

really? 3 votes for SE, i guess ill just go with the 12" SE over 2 of the infinitys.

how many cubes do the SE's need in a sealed box?
