Would this be a good idea ?

I want to cut holes in my rear deck, under the back window, and put like 1 6x9 on each side and like 6 6.5's in between them. Think that would sound good ?

Nope not at all. I think that is a bad idea. But that is just me. I would not waste my time with rear fill

Why would you want to do that??? Other than to say you got a crap load of speaker in the back window???

If you are going to buy new speakers, I would ditch the 6x9s all together...

and I know that back deack is big and all, but with that many drivers, I don't think you could get enough sepperation to tell right from left, it'd sound mono...

I'd say go with a decent 6.5" and tweet set and a decent 8" on each side and call it done...

I was thinking use the 8"s as Midbass, not as subs...

so you'd have

1 amp for front mids/tweets

1 amp for rear mids/tweets

1 amp for rear midbass

1 or more amps for subs

Each of the amps crossed over at their own ranges...
