I have 2 10"JLw3 some people say that rms is 300 and some say rms is 500. I was thinking about getting a JL JX1000.1 to power them but i don't want the amp to be too powerful for these subs. The amp is rated(at 12.5V) 500 x 1 @ 4ohms, 700 x 1 @ 3ohms, and 900 x 1 @ 2ohms. Would the subs like this power or what do you think?

Not if you set the gain properly.
Ok thanks, i'll be setting it properly with a meter

RMS, 300w. So you want an amp that does ~600w at whatever ohm load you have. What's the voice coil configuration on your subs?
Both are single 4 ohm will wire them down to 2 ohms
