Would one RE audio se12?

sound better than the 2 rockford p2's that i currently have? Iv got a kicker zx750.1 for my amp and id like to only have one sub so i could have a little trunk space. Someone wants to buy my rockfords for 140 and that would be enough for me to get the Se12. Would this be an upgrade? Thanks in advance.

The SE was/is a nice sub. However, I don't know if it'd be a significant upgrade for you. There are simply too many variables (enclosure, power, musical preference, etc.). Your question is far too open ended...

i run one right now off an AQ 1200. gettin about 800 at 2 ohms. Its definitely not that loud. Either that or I got use to it. But 2 of them would be nice

well i listen to rap. i have the rockfords in a prefab box buy if i bought the se12 i would build my own ported box for it. and the amps birthsheet says its good for 959 watts.

well i assumed (made an *** outta myself) that because the box said 2(8 ohm) that the subs were dvc 8 ohms and were wired to 2 ohms so i was getting everything out of my amp. i took the subs out of the box for the first time ver and found out the are svc 8 ohms each and iv been wasting half my amp's power for the last 3 months...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif so am i correct in saying that the one re se12 at 2 ohms will sound a shit ton better than what i had?
