Would it be a huge jump? 12" alum to 15"ti

I am thinking of letting my boy use my eclipse 15" ti since I don't really have anything to put it in. He currently is running a 12" al, not sure on the model, I know they made a couple different ones. We would be running it off the same eclipse da7232 amp he is running the 12" off of. I would build a new box for it, maybe a 4th order or something fun.

Question is, would it be a very noticeable increase in spl?

The TC build one should be a marked improvement over that other thing (provided you put it in correct box anyway)

I told him he had to pay mobile enclosures to design a box if he wanted it.

If you put it in a 4th order you'll definitely see some good results

Thanks guys. But now a couple of 10" ti have shown up on cl local, how would 2 of those be against the single 15"? Will still be running the same amp.
