okay, so it seems like i didnt realize how friggin big my 12 inch xxx would be, (.75ft displacement) and my trunk is pretty friggin tiny.

i was origionally going to use re's "optimal" design for their box, which is 2.2 at 34 hz, but would i lose alot of output if i decided to do the 1.7 at 35hz? i listen to mainly rock as it is, so if it hit a bit higher i wouldnt mind.

you'd probably be fine. you'll lose a little low end, but being a rock guy, you may not notice. a smaller box might even get louder if you have sufficient power.

but uh, anyone know how big this port should be? i dunno really how to calculate it.

2.2 is probably after displacement. so more like 3ft.

actually, its 2.2 for the box, .75 for the woofer, and .763 for the area the port takes up. so its closer to 3.6 gross box volume...unless i fudged up the numbers

not too bad for exhaust and chipped.

hah and my old integra gs-r hit 147 at the windshield, not exactly a fast car, but quick enough.
