I am trying to figure out whether or not i am going to build my box in my trunk either ported towards the rear of the trunk, or up through the deck and into the car. I would be either using pvc pipe, or a slot port. I was just wondering, would i most likely hear port noise with pvc pipe ported through the deck? Anything ported into the trunk wouldnt concern me as it wouldnt even be heard by me.

Right now my box is for a single 15, firing sub/port to the rear of trunk. And when i have the trunk open, i can hear some port noise, its only when i play like a 10-30hz tone or so if i recall. Its like whistling noise. I dont think it does that on music tho??? Either way, i was just mostly wondering about the pvc pipe through the deck if i decided to go that way.

So if i get enough port area i should be good? Its going to be for two 9515's. I havent figured how many cubes they will be in yet, will take up my whole trunk. But it will be worth it.

How do i do flares on pvc pipe?
