Would I be okay running a 1100 watt boss audio amp on two Pioneer TS W3003D4? The subs call for 600rms each. Would I be okay under powering them that much for a couple months till I can afford an amp that is decent?

Any amp will run any speaker. Just be careful as that boss amp my actually do only 200 watts. So overdriving the amp can cause clipping which can kill a sub.

dude please don't., i have a autotek and even i'm like come on.. the pioneer champ pro is actually a good sub., that amp will barely push 1 of them.. i'm getting about 500rms from my amp on 1 3003 ported and it's pretty loud with my techno bass cd's like loud.. we would all be glad to recomend 10 other amps better for the job that aren't crazy expensive... like the pioneer 8601 800rms to those subs(if u using ported box u will need ss filter though) cab 1600.1 $199 will give u 600rms per sub and have power to spare., rockford 750.1 probably does like 840rms for $215 or so or rf 500.1 620 or so rms $129 but has been as low as $115 in past month just run 1 of them on the 500 ported sell the other be louder than both on the boss., both the rf amps have like 1000 combined 5 star reviews.. just sold my old orion subs and crossfire amp to guy that had boss stuff trust me..

Hes asking if its ok to run that amp while he saves up for a better one. Absolutely nothing wrong with using what you have until you save up. It is perfectly fine to underpower speakers. Ive ran 300w to SAs. Those subs he has, arent power hungry. 200w rms is fine for now

OH yeah i mean u can run them if they get 200 each (but that amp really is only like 200rms total) they'll play fine 96db s/n might even sound good if they ported..UNTIL U GET SOMETHING ELSE also it's a good way for u to sell the amp (if u already have it) lets peeps hear subs sell the amp get better one which i also need to do but as i said mine sound pretty da*n good also i only drive 20 mins a week or so and just bought a new hu which also helped my amp alot.. so what box u using? and let us help when u look for another amp..

OP, it's fine as already stated. It'll make a little noise for now but don't expect to blow the doors off. Just try and not be stupid with the audio you have now and crank the **** out of it. Nothing wrong with a small amp running a few watts to some subs. Hell I'm doing the same....my lilttle s10 my jl 8" sub getting 100 watts from an o/s Sony amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif for now until I get the other 8 in place and another better amp installed.
