I say we just set the date for that weekend, its over three weeks away that should be plenty of time for everyone to plan for it

Its actually in a town called Sugar Grove. The last event at the park until Easter is on September 29th. After that it is all open. No need for a permit or anything. I just have to call the woman in charge of the park district to let her know when we'll be out, so they aren't mowing or disturbing our event (country courtesy). The cops are cool with it too as long as we get no complaints. We just need to set a date.

Sunday would actually probably work better for me too.

I checked the weather almanac for the weekend of the 20-21, and the temperature varied from high 50's to low 70's, and pretty much the same for a few weeks earlier (the 6th-7th).

We might be better off having it on the 6th-7th the way things have been cooling down quick this year, but I'm not sure if that's enough lead time for everyone to get off of work.

Let's figure this out.

yeah i think the 21st will work let keep an eye out on the weather if and see how the next coupe of weeks go if it seems as though its going to get cold fast then we might have to rethink

but right now i think the 21st is our best bet

i can handle it if is in the 50's

I'm open for whenever, just need a few week's notice, so I don't schedule any hockey games to ref that weekend. Looking forward to meeting up.

I think the 21st is going to have to be it, whether some people like it or not.
