Would 4 (12")Alpine type R's (sealed)throw-down

Unless you dampen, your car is going to rattle like shit with four sealed woofers. You are not going to put up any impressive numbers with such a small space to work with either. You may be able to get by with 3 Type R's ported. 3 of those in the correct ported box would be just as good, if not better than four sealed.

You would definitely impress anyone who doesn't know anything and be loud and annoying down the street, but you would be better off maximing your trunk space efficiently.

Well,jemorgan85 The main fact is that I'am not trying to impress a single soul!!Just,to make that fact known to you.And just for your information.There are some Probes hittin(140-150dB)It's all about the install and preparation of the vehicale.(Such as ampening,& power sources)

YOU are telling ME that it's about the install? How many installs have you done?

The whole sound system revolves around installation. Most people on here agree that about ten percent of the total install relies on good equipment.

Also, I never said that Probes didn't put up good numbers. Go to Treo's website and look at the probe there with three CSX's. That probe puts up bigger numbers than you could ever dream of with four type-R's.

If you want to start a knowledge fight with me, you are dealing with the wrong person. I suggest you keep your smart *** comments to yourself unless you really know what you are talking about. No one really cares about the numbers of some Probes. If you think you can score some higher numbers than myself or anyone else on here who knows half a shit about what they are talking about, be my guest. You had better research your shit.

Since you live close by, come to Greenwood and check out Adam's install that helped design. At least it has a good reason to rattle a little bit, unlike four sealed Type-R's.

If you are thinking about putting four Type-R's in sealed boxes in a vehicle with barely enough trunk space to adequately house four woofers, and expect to put up big numbers, you have your ideas in the wrong place, wrong install, wrong everything. I would like to see those installs you have supposedly done.

I usually don't get mad at any posts, but something about the ridiculous idea of putting four sealed type-r's in a small vechile and expecting big numbers pissed me off. Not to mention in your previous post you were being a smart ***.

My frield pulled a 142.2 at the local sound off with two alpine 12 type-r in his truck and a 800 fosgate amplifier. It is load as shit but it still couldn't beat mine.
