Worth while upgrade?

Hey everyone new to forum, never really post on forums too much, mostly I just read the threads and go from there. But I ready to upgrade my subwoofer amp, I recently install a new set of CDT comps and powering them with a Audison LRX 2.150 amp (upgraded from a Profile ap600). The Audison is awesome, very well built and sounds great. I have a Elemental Designs 13av.2 D4 (2ohm) sub in a 1.3cu sealed box, powered with a Soundstream Picasso PCX 1500D amp. I'm mostly concerned with sound quality, would a Audison LRX 1.400 be a upgrade or should I just stay with the Soundstream? Planning on also upgrading to a Eclipse CD 8445 for the 8volt preouts.
