worth the upgrade?

I currrently have 2 12" RE SX's powered by 2 bx1500d's. I really wanted to upgrade to 2 MT's. I would be using the same box which is a 10 cube 4th order bandpass. I may be using the same amps or possibly upgrading. Is this worth the upgrade? Will MT's be noticably louder than SX's? thanks in advance

my guess is being that the mt's are made for spl..i think u will have more punch than sq

When it is all said and done I would not think there would be a huge difference. The easiest way to really make a huge difference is to play around with different boxes. Try a large slot ported box tuned rather high. This would make more of a difference than just switching subs made by the same company.

I dont know personally if you should upgrade the amps...but I Say sure why not... if you can... why not give them sucker what they are begging for... "MORE POWER!"
