She's actually pretty talented. A very strong and intellectual figure, politically driven. Strong enough America has been holding up her ability to get a visa for years.

well, your response triggered (no, not that kind of triggered LoL) my mind to go check it out. It seems that the song is a social commentary as you mentioned. I never looked into it because if the bubble gum feel to it. Sadly, the part i liked bes about the groove of the song is a direct ripoff of a song by "the clash" and is even referenced in the lyrics of paper planes... kinda... "already going to hell, just pumping that gas" sounds like an homage to the song "straight to hell", which is the song that it rips off worse than vanilla ice ripped off "under pressure" with his eponymous "ice ice baby". Take a listen
