The blade flimsy? No, it's pretty sturdy.... about 1/8" thick I believe. The one I had before was like 1/16", the board was able to push the blade around during the cut, it was terrible!

if you have a wimpy motor you can go with a smaller blade diameter size. and it will ripp allot faster and more torque.

UPDATES!!!!

Still need to attach the baffles, round corners & edges, sand everything down smooth, and resin the inside. But now I'm going to lunch... haha
