I like the usage of masking tape to guild the port placement. I just use a pencil, but whatever works. Thumbs up.

well the main point of the tape is for when i spray it, it wont interfere with the bond between the port and the bottom piece. it's getting sprayed as i build it, it should be ALOT easier

anyone know how many layers of paint the wood will take to acctually look black?

Couple coats of primer, and 3-4 light coats of paint and It'll look better.

meh shoulda taped more off

rubber undercoating for port

when it dried, it turned out alot smoother

its rubber under coating, i like how that looks as opposed to spray paint, it coats on alot nicer

why not use black spray paint...you want the port to be as smooth as possible...
