2100$ before taxes I'm sure with all that OT tax totally killed the check, is this for one week? If so got ****, but **** that's mad hours. What are you working 10hour days 7days a week, 15hour days?

anything with overtime is taxed heavily. i personally change my exemptions when a big snow storm/overtime is coming. save it if possible and draw a little interest on it. if you don't have to do it too many weeks in the year, it's worth it. otherwise, if you owe during tax time, it sucks.

exactly...

anything over 50 hours is pointless to me. the amount of taxes that get taken out just make it not worth it... for my job at least... i'm an electrician and it's pretty labor intensive. i'm sure i could sit in front of a computer screen and collect OT...

how does your company OT work? for me it's anything over 40 hours is time and a half, anything over 50 is double time....

All time and a half.

Taxes arent that bad. No state tax in texas. On a $1300 check I bring home $1k so Id imagine that its going to be ~$5-600 taken out.

during last years blizzard i got 106 hours in a week and 102 the very next week. my record just got broken this week by and hour.:crying:not really even a whole hour. more like 15 minutes.
