Is that why he probably signed for less money at michigan, thats why nobody else would take the job. However the athletic director at wvu is a asshat who didnt like coach rod and i think that is more likely the reason he left

If he doesn't get to a BSC game next season, he'll be gone.

The only thing I am pissed about is the recruits that we will be losing. I heard a lot of talk about Terry Bowden being a possible replacement. This was just an idea, nothing confirmed at all.

i dont know what he signed for but when your team sells out a stadium every home game of WELL over 100,000 and all of their games are on tv plus their conference gets a bigger bowl purse year in and out i would imagine at least he has more potential to make more at mich

Yeah he didn't get along with the Athletic Director and Deputy Athletic Director. BUt I am a WVU fan, not a Rich Rod fan, so I am glad he is leaving. He didn't want to be here, so I don't want him here. I figure WVU is going to get their ***** handed to them by OU.

he almost got the alabama job last year if saban wouldnt have quit the dolphins he would be a bama man now.

Saban was after he turned down the position. He was using that to get more money and better facilities for the team. The athletic department didn't come through, so he left. Regardless though and what pisses me off the most is him speech about being a WV man, family man etc, and then turning around and finding out it was all bull.

Again it makes me extremely happy as he is terrible coach, he just had the luck of playing in one of the worst conferences in college football, he will get his *** handed to him in the Big Ten and that makes me extremely happy. I see a few years of MSU domination coming. Dantonio>Rodriguez.

I hope so! I really do. AS far as WVU is concerned, I heard a couple people are interested in the position...

Larry Coker-Miami

Terry Bowden

and possibly Nick Saban (I doubt it tho)
