I would contact the seller first and let him know what happened...if it was broke in shipping then you can file an insurance claim...if it was broke when he sent it then he should have to refund some of the money for a recone....
no way that the package was insurable, ups would show up and basically laugh at him.

 
its not as bad as i thought it would be, goop or CA glue it and it will probably be playable, the recone are in parts like that anyway, RE just goes ahead and puts them together

but i odnt know about the long run, get him to pay 50-75 for a recone, and pocket it until it needs one for real

 
that looks fixable, just use some really good glue. done it before, 7 years ago, and i still got the same sub(in my closet, jensen crap) and the last time i had it in my car(1 year ago) it still played like new. got the glue i fixed it with at a local car audio dealer/installer. cost me $15cdn for the tube.
