hey all.. i was thinking about buying some audio off woofersetc and was wondering if anyone has bought from them before??? just wondering if it's kind of a scam and what their like to deal with?? also wondering how long shipping takes and if they actually honor warranty?? basically i'd like to hear the good.. bad and worst case that you got too offer!!

I bought my whole first system and everything came fast to canada. I just asked them to price match to sonicelectronix prices and they had no problems. Great customer service, replied to my e-mails within minutes unlike sonicelectronix when it took them 3 days to reply to mine.

I went to the actual warehouse they have and its a bunch of mexicans working so they are super fast.

Meh... they look good if you take their "MSRP" as truth... unfortunately in alot of cases, the MSRP they list is inflated to make the deal look better.

I've ordered from them. There was a problem with my CC (Cell number wasn't on my credit card info, so it didnt match). They called me up the next morning and I had it all sorted out quickly. He gave me his extension so I wouldn't have to explain the situation every time I called (took a few calls back and forth between credit card and them. Not their fault)

Got my CDT speakers very quickly and the packaging was great.

Great customer service as well as fast shipping.

actually.. aside from focal.. does anyone know if any other companies don't honor warranty from buying stuff online?? or is just when ypu buy from ebay?? i'm still a bit paranoid about buying anything off the internet. but so far these guys don't sound too bad

Usually it's not an issue of buying online vs. offline, it depends if that retailer is authorized by the manufacturer. If they are an authorized retailer, you will get a full warranty, otherwise, no. Generally if they are authorized they will say so, and the price will be a bit higher. I have bought equipment from eBay before, and so far, have been okay.
