Hey i have a question for all you sound people that know more about this stuff then me!

I/myfriend has 4 american pro subwoofers, and a 800sx profile amp and when he hooks all four up a certain way 3 of the 4 woofers kick in and not out! I have never heard or have seen woofers do that and i want to know how that is possible and if it is ok to run them like they do? The woofers sound deeper/lower and don't destort or give the air noise off and they are louder!!!

maybe he has the wire put in backwards into the sub terminal thing?

like POS-to-NEG, NEG-to-POS. you're supposed to do that when you invert the subs.

and they are in regular?

regular is how most people put subs into a box. invert is having the subs facing INTO the box, so you see the magnet on the outside..

it doesnt hurt to have subs wired backwards, but u should only do it it if u have subs inverted
