woofer or amp promblem. need help

ok my set up is 99 mountaineer with a 250amp alternator.stingers spv70.crunch 3000 amp and memphis mojo 15 for now.the mojo has been loud for 3 years now but now when i turn it up loud it starts to like cut out.like it moves but very little sound at higher volume. i was woundering if anyone knew if it was the woofer or the amp.i know you'd prolly have to see and hear in person but i thought i'd ask for help.

its the woofer.i took off the motor and the coil is getting dark black
