How much does the MDF or PDF wood cost to build a box? cant you get that stuff from any hardware store just about?

Most places MDF is about 30 bucks a sheet iirc, couldn't say about PDF

how many sheets do you need for a typical box? 5 cubes at 36 hz.

its for 2 alpine r 12's

You can fit a 5 cubes box on one sheet, its 48 X 96 figure it out before you go, they usually sell half and quarter sheets, its $33 for 3/4 @ home depot here
