im not really sure how to explain this, but what do you guys that have replaced your stock trunk floor use as a base? i need something really thin, like

i even thought about maybe using a sheet of stiff foam to help with sound deadening but idk...

throw me some ideas! the trunk is almost done! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

Yep...

You'll probably have to make 2 pieces to get it in, but it'll work fine.

You can use the trunk carpet as a pattern for it too. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

hmm any other ideas? like i said ill have to measure. but i know there sure isnt a whole lot of room height-wise...

how would i go about making just a flat piece of fiberglass?can i just cover a flat piece of mdf and lay resin/mat on it? hmm

or do they make plexi that thin??

lawl i am.. my knuknoceptz parts are on the way... in the meantime i wanna fix up the floor... but amp racks are mounted and box is ready to go //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif :greedy:

Fiberglass isnt real strong on big flat areas, and Im not sure you would want to mess with 1/8in MDF even if they make it, it would be like cardboard, your best bet is going to be what TeamPSI said ^^^ and Flipx99

Have you thought about using 1/8" plexiglass?
or do they make plexi that thin??

Id use a hardwood like sandply or something as such.
That is about the slowest mustang build Ive seen since........................well mine.
