Sit home and do what?
You also cannot force companies to make anything. The proper incentives for 50 mpg V8s are not there...and people aren't willing to pay the price.if they made vehicles to run on fumes or vapors rather than raw fuel we could see 50+ mpg out of V8s for sure.engines do not need to have fuel dumped in to run.
i was tempted to get a mini bike. not all go very fast but you could save a ton of $ with not needing to pay insurance. and they dont need to be licensed since the are 50cc and underI am thinking so...I mean, no one is saying we should do "x" or "y" that would be effective. Is lowering the speed limit to 60 going to do much...maybe save us a nickel or 2, then gain us a few extra mpg.
I take it you have never taken any economics classes?Thats it. I would bet within 2hours of no one showing up to work that we would see Old George W on the TV begging us to go back to work. But we wont until minimum wage is set to atleast $13-15 per hour and he signs a bill to freeze gas prices until an investigation is done on these greedy oil companies
a) We couldn't see Bush on TV because the guy that runs the camera would have stayed home.Thats it. I would bet within 2hours of no one showing up to work that we would see Old George W on the TV begging us to go back to work. But we wont until minimum wage is set to atleast $13-15 per hour and he signs a bill to freeze gas prices until an investigation is done on these greedy oil companies
I am tempted to get a small motorcycle...but the cost of maintenance and tires is too expensive.i was tempted to get a mini bike. not all go very fast but you could save a ton of $ with not needing to pay insurance. and they dont need to be licensed since the are 50cc and under
Do you have any idea how expensive and terrible for the environment it is to make batteries?internal combustion engines are only 20-22% efficient, electric motors are about 99% efficient, problem solved:imdama:
Check out the cost of batteries. Cost of replacement, cost of manufacturing, cost of destroying them...internal combustion engines are only 20-22% efficient, electric motors are about 99% efficient, problem solved:imdama:
i agree with that one.a) We couldn't see Bush on TV because the guy that runs the camera would have stayed home.
b) Raising the minimum wage is inflationary. It isn't like the price of everything else will stay the same. Furthermore, it causes job gentrification.
c) We tried fixing the price in the past. The lesson learned was that we ran out of fuel. I would rather see $10/gal than no gas at all.
You are what I call a stupid American.Nope Im what u call a Blue collar American. Spelling ****![]()
Nothing wrong with that at all. I was just saying raising the minimum wage is not the answer. Unemployment would skyrocket as well as prices beyond the rate they are now.Nope Im what u call a Blue collar American. Spelling ****![]()
