If your worried stockpile some gas.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
thats a decent idea. if it really happens tho just imagine the crime rate. hell you will have people breaking in while you are sitting at the table eating to steal anything they can to get $ to pay the bills.

may help a little although most vehicles are designed to get the most between 60-65
it was 3.75 here yesterday and at 3pm went to 3.89. with crazy jumps like that i could see it going over 5 a gallon easy.

although i hope not

I didn't say it was the best way...just cheap.

60-65 you might want to recheck that i have a edge that tells me what i get and i got the best results at 50mph with air off i was getting 24 miles to the gallon in a f150 supercrew 5.4l and with air on and 23mpg , doing 60mph i was getting 20 air off and 19 air on, at 65mph i was getting 17 air on and 18 air off

Gas will not be $10 a gallon in America. Not this year anyway.
Even if it was, 60% is an extreme number. Some yes. More than half? Not likely.
only reason i said 60% is because almost any work in the US is in sales now and dont pay to great. it may not happen over a week but give it a month or so and all the people that work the jobs that keep day to day shit going wont be able to get to work. then comes everything else starts falling off

I'd be all for a return to 55...

However, I think 60 is a bit easier to swallow than 55. IIRC, the trucking industry is pushing to lower the speed limit.

That figure depends on the price and availability of credit. If credit is too expensive or unobtainable, then yes...there will be severe cuts in discretionary spending.

U know we should all just stay home until this country changes its way's. I mean they are paying us $5.15 per hour minimum wage and expect us to pay these gas prices and i just heard postage is going up AGAIN... If this country wasnt filled with wussy's we could make a change but instead we will sit back and do nothing and complain to everyone we see,,, GET OFF YOUR AZZ AMERICA!!!!
