Yea, but in order to buy a gun you have to either pass the background check process from a dealer, or take the time to find a private party. Just seems like to me some nut job can forget to take there meds, go to the range and shoot up the place, which looks like it happend
probably should be some sort of waiting period for that if ya ask me. The only thing worse than this is large gun shows which i imagine you can acquire a weapon quite easily at

the large gun shows ive been to are pretty well controlled and they still do background check before any purchase....atleast the few ive attended...bought my first gun from a large gun show and had to take a safety course on sight and then wait 2 weeks for a background check before i could go and pick it up

yea but when they do a background check, it wont tell them you are crazy unless you have actually been locked up for it...an unstable person can still acquire a firearm with a clean background, just check NO in the box where it asks if you are mentally unfit...flawed system, but...meh...

yea, but I bet if you are on metal health meds it would probably show up.....

glad to hear gun shows do background checks, I always though you just walked in, they asked you to fill out some form and sign and you could buy it on the spot no questions asked.

I saw on Investigation Discovery how a guy bought a gun that he tried to make untraceable, and it almost worked except when he bought it out of the trading journal he called using his home phone LOL

yup, I don't quite get that checkbox. Not many people are good on the honor system, some cuckoo for cocoa puffs motherfukr definitely isn't going to be honest.
