I am going on a survivalist camp out in the kiamichi mountains tommorrow with a buddy, lets hope I dont end up in some situation like on Deliverence:crap:

No subs or whiskey, only things needed and not much of it either.

The Kiamichi Mountains are in SE Oklahoma, nothing big but you can **** sure get lost and die or get killed there. Its going to be great

I shot an ar-15 at a gun range. It is too short to be effective imo, but I don't really know much of anything about guns.

I can easily tap steel with mine free handed at 300yds. My trijicon scope has a drop compensator for up to 800. I feel I can easily take someone out setting prone with something to rest on at 4-500yds with mine and its only a 16" with a flash hider and tele stock. Yeah they are very nice especially if you acctually use it in the field on day/night excursians or whatever. I use mine pretty much exactly for what it was intended for, it not jus some fancy peice of eye candy like a lot of people. I paid about $900 for my acog w/bac with the chevron recticle.
