ok i wanna get 2 kicker L7s to be powered by my 1501d. now am i gonna want the 2 ohm dvc or 4 ohm dvc? i have no idea on what would work better..i have seen the diagrams like on crutchfield n stuff, but its all foriegn to me.someone please help, its a 2 channel amp by the way dont know anything else...thanks guys

The 1501D from MTX is a mono amplifier, meaning one channel, not two.

It does it's power at 2ohm's, so therefore, you'd want a pair of 2ohm DVC drivers.

You'd wire them to your amp like this (to present a 2ohm load) :

are you sure. im not trying to test your knowledge or anything but i thought it was 2 channels because there are t sets of positive and negatives to hook up the speaker wire to. just wondering

In that case, why don't you just wire the 2 subs seperately? One sub to each pair of terminals, that way if you experience any wire shortage or any problems in one set of wires you'll only need to mess with those? Just my opinion, I try to keep things simple.
