hey im about to finish the box and put the sub in, now i know the rockford diagram, but what size wire should i use for a 12" xxx, and also should i just insert the two wires in the same hole and screw it down with the allen key? or is there a better method for actually wiring it up

Im not too sure what you mean about the two wires in the same hole screwed in with an allen key part but as for the wire part, anything bigger than 18 guage will work. 16 guage I think is a good trade off in size and flexibility. Personally though, I dont like to use anything smaller than a 14. Heck ive even got 14 guage wiring for my component set. For me bigger is always better.

the positive and negative terminals on each side of the sub are not metal tabs, they are actual holes for the wire to fit into and then tighten the wires down with the screw

i'll take a pic in the morning
