wiring wires under the car

Is it safe to run wires under the car? Since my car is old it doesn't have much space in the panels inside the car so the only option for me is to run it under the car. I will use wire loom to protect it of course with some zip ties tied to something but is it safe?

Nothing wrong with it at all. I promise you'll not be the first to wire up some tunes in an older vehicle that running underneath was a much easier option than going through the vehicle somehow.

Like has already been posted ~ just make sure there is some sort of protection (grommet or something similar) where it will go through any metal to enter the cabin to prevent the insulation from becoming compromised. Shorting to ground is never a good thing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/nono.gif.eca61d170185779e0921b0faa9704973.gif

Additionally, like you've apparently already decided to do, using wire ties to secure your cabling should work perfectly. So long as it is snug and secure and won't likely become subject to getting snagged on anything while you're driving you should be golden //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Good luck getting your tunes sorted //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif
