Wiring Voltage Meter to 3 differnt amps?

You cant..?

The only possible way you could do that is if you were to wire in some sort of switch to switch between the three amps.. Otherwise this is quite the ridiculous question if you honestly think you can monitor 3 amps at once with one meter..

Just wire it into one of the batteries..

lol well i thought i would ask, well the main amp i need is my sub amp kicker zx2500.1, the others are smaller amps, a kicker zx150.2 and a rockford 450.2 so i would think those would matter as much as the kicker? well do you think it would be accurate on the back battery? thanks

IMO i think it would be best bet to just wire it into the battery. That way you can see what voltage is going to everything. Otherwise i would put it on the biggest amp, the zx2500. Im guessing the smaller amps will be fine and not take near as much power as the 2500. That 2500 will be pulling most of the power..

^^This^^

yea i was thinking bout just doing the biggest amp but the battery will be right with them so i might just wire it up to the battery, also when i wire it up to the battery would it stay on all the time, well while the truck is on? thanks

The voltage is going to be pretty close everywhere in the car. You could wire it to your headlights and it wont matter. Even if you have extra batts voltage is going to be be across the board instantly. As long as your wiring is all large enough.

Thats my logic. I think this will be a pretty debatable subject.

also guys do you think RCAs make a difference in sound?, louder? well i am going to buy a pair of Knu RCAS and try them out, i have some cheap soche rcas and one kicker rca do you think it will be worth it to spend the money on new rcas, i mean will i notice any difference? also with 10 or 12 gauge speaker wire, will i notice a differnce? thanks

also i am waiting on my knu 1/0 gauge power wire, i already have kicker 4 gauge in the truck with fuses? do you think it would help if i left the 4 gauge hooked up and just added the 1/0 gauge wire? or should i just take the 4 gauge out and run the 1 1/0 gauge? thanks

No. Unless you are getting engine or other noise introduced into the system from cheap rca's, no need to change them IMO. You wont notice any difference.

Are you running the full 2500 out of that zx2500? Im not sure if 12g is enough, im guessing it is enough. Unless others feel otherwise, there is no need to get bigger speaker wires. It wont change anything, unless your trying to run a ton of power through a little wire. What size wire are you running now?

I will have to pretty much agree with this, its going to be pretty **** close either way. I went ahead and wired it in the back tho cuz im mainly interested in what the amp is getting, but i dont think its totally necessary.

No. You got a stinger volt meter, right? If so, there are 3 wires, a ground, a power (reads voltage), and a remote turn on. You wire the remote wire either into your decks amp turn on, or into your cars ignition wire. Depending on when you want the meter to turn on. When the radio turns on? Wire it into the amp remote wire on the deck. When the car turns on? Just wire it into the red accessory/ignition wire that goes to the deck.

Personally i would remove the 4g, however i would say it is not NEEDED to be removed, IMO. But i dont really think it would be something many people would do, i would just take it out.

tsunami use to have a readout that you could monitor multiple amps with
