Wiring up a stiffening capacitor

what is the best way to wire a stiffening capacitor i know i should be close to the amp as possable should i wire it

battery-fuse-wire-cap-distribution block-amp or

battery-fuse-wire-distribution block-cap-amp

using 8 ga wire about to upgrade to 4ga soon

and yes my light dim at night ,know i need a new battery:crap:

i know some of you say cap dont work i got a brand new one off ebay for 15.00 so i going to use it

i usually run the power to the cap, from the cap to the amp.

then ground the cap and the amp in the same spot.

Deoends on what type of cap....If it was only 15 dollars, id put a fuse on both sides....lol

if you do a short enough run from the cap to the amp you dont need a fuse..
