wiring two subs

Ok for 150 bucks your not gunna get a stout 2 channel amplifier unless someone knows something I dont know?

If I was you I would purchase another 4 ohm DVC.....and buy this amp

For 25 bucks more than your budget, your buying an outstanding amp.....Wire your subs to a 1 ohm load which will give each sub 300 watts from that amp.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

would i be able to buy a 2 channel amp.then wire each sub to 2 ohms.

then give each sub its own channel at 2 ohms?

and get this amp?

A good sized 2 ch would work.

However, I would suggest bridging the amp and wiring the subs for 4 ohms vs. 2 ohms stereo as you described. Same power, just a little better sound quality - theoretically.

As for your amp -- I've been a Lanzar homer for several years - but the sales specs on the non-Optidrive amps are almost always WAAAAY high.

If you go to lanzar's site and look at the manual for that amp --

Ratings are -

75x2 at 4 ohms and 100x2 at 2.

Quite honestly, it's a pretty bad buy at $109. For that little power you ought to get optidrive quality.

1 yr warranty and around 400w for less than $80 shipped.

o good eye.

didnt see that, thanks!

hmm i thought if u wire it at 2 ohms u get more power out of the amp??

that profile is nice. i was lookin for something with a lil more power,

but considering the whole budget thing and for that price u cant really beat it.

i thought subs were gonna be the hardest part of the system.

wrongggg.

pickin an amp sucksss!
