Wiring tweets...

I am sure you have all heard me ***** about the balancing issues in my Jeep and not having a front stage. I was thinking about adding some tweets up front on the dash to maybe help out with this issue. I have a Alpine CDA-9815 on the way (YAY!!) and will be running all 4 5 1/4" speakers off the HU. How would I go about wiring in a set of tweets? Which would be the best way to do so? Thanks.

Anyway I can wire these without an amp? Anybody wanna help? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

You could parallel them with your front speakers.....but you need to figure out something to do about a crossover if they don't come with one.

But, IMO you would be better off upgrading to an external amp and a decent set of compononets. If you just wanted louder, then the extra tweet will do it. If you want louder and better sound, then get a comp set.

you could wire them to your headunit but you still do something about a crossover. they may have a bass blocker on the positive speaker wire .. that should help. make sure you use that or they will be sure to pop.
