Ok i have a sealed enclosure This exact one Fierce Audio - 10" Dual Sealed Flat Pack Subwoofer Enclosure - FPS210.1

I am planning on putting 2 500w rms subs in it my problem is my am will do 900w x 1 @ 1ohm but i cant wire them inside the box unless i put holes in my box will that mess up the sound or is there anyway to wire them into their own seprate terminals and get them to 1 ohm btw my subs are going to be RD sonace 10' dvc 4ohms subs

Ok i sound like a new but right now i got 2 infinity refrence 10' these ones right here hooked up Amazon.com: Infinity Reference 1050w 10-Inch Subwoofer (Silver/Black): Electronics

and it had 2 connectors but it says it isnt dvc i have them hooked up to a 1 ohm load i guess...... both the negatives hooked up and both the positves on both woofers and connected them sepratly to my box then i wired the 2 subs together from the out side what ohm load am i giving to these subs im confussed????????

So are they dvc subs or not? Those are not, so if those are what you have your wiring options are 2 ohm or 8 ohm loads.

DVC subs should have 4 connectors, two for each voice coil. both the negatives and both the positives, meaning the neg and pos on each sub?

Thats not always the case though. I had a DVC audiobahn that had 2 positive and 2 negatives per voice coil.
Interesting I did not know that. I suppose then I should have said a minimum of 4 connectors per sub.

rumdada that is a pic of DVC sub unless for some reason they decided to give a SVC four terminals on opposite sides //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif. That link must not be to the right sub. If they are D4s, then each is wired to 2 ohms if you've done pos-pos and neg-neg on each, and if you've wired both in parallel to each other they will be at 1 ohm.

If they are D2s they will be at 1 ohm each, and 0.5 in parallel with each other. Check the final resistance that amp sees with a multimeter. connect the leads to the speaker wire going to your amp (disconnected)
