prolly an easy one for you guys, but here goes. i have 2 dvc 4ohm subs im gona wire to a mono amp. i looked at the rf site, and have the pic for what load im gona run it on. the part that confuses me is the subs i have have 4 places to put the wires on either side of them, for a total of 8 spots. not sure whether thats going to affect how i wire them, or if theyre just extra ones in case you were hooking up more than 1 amp to them. any help would be appreciated, thx! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

with the 2 4ohm dvc you can to either a 1 or 4 ohm load at the amp

here is how you would wire for the 4ohm

and for the 1ohm

I suggest you do the "4 ohm load" diagram. The 1 ohm load diagram is probably going to be too much for your amp. Usually 1 ohm stable amps are pretty expensive and you dont typically see them unless your into competition amps.

the "8" connections you speak of are just for wiring convenience. Theirs REALLY only 2 connections on each side for a total of 4 connections.

When connecting the speaker just be sure that each side has a positive and a negative.

If you follow that diagram carefully their will be 2 empty connection terminals on each side of the sub left over. This is fine.
