Hey i know that this is a car audio board but i thought since this had to do with wiring someone might be able to help out. I want to get a remote start put in my car and i was wondering is it something i could do myself or is it something to leave it to the specialists has anyone ever done or atempted to do one themselves let me know

if you've never messed with stuff like that then spend the extra bucks to get it professionally done... just what i'd do

yeah, i had a 98 eclipse with a remote start on it and it has to be wired into the car alarm computer if ya have one, or at least that's how it was with my mitsu

Yeah i got a stock car alarm on my car but it works well now that is fixed it cause i found out i can get a remote start at my work 2 keychain remotes for less then $90 is that a good deal?

Its on a 89 Lincoln Mark VII its the keyless entry Alarm thats stock on the door using the code , i just want to get a remote start cause i work late nights and i have to park some what far away mostly a security percasion (sry if i spelt that wrong)

Um im not quite sure but i know that u get everything all the wiring you need and everything includes to remote keychains

well i think they range from like 60 to 120, depending on the maker or whatever, but mos only come with one keychain so 2 for 90 might be a good deal, but like i said i don;t know too much about that stuff

I work at Target i got my amp from there to 500 watt jensen i know underpowering 2 12's not that good but its all i got the cash for right now but ill get a better amp soon but they still pound pretty good since there in a band pass box

Yeah what it is i bought a 12 audiobahn awhile ago off my friend 500 watt $25 bux then the same sub at this place by me $90 then i got like this $300 dollar box from my neighbor for my graduation present and the amp i just recently bought for $50 at my work and i have just bought a DEH - deh4800 pioneer Hu which i love that alpine 2 way coaxials for my side door speakers and my 6x9s had them for a while got em last christmas bouston acoustic but that consisits of my system not bad for doing every thing on my own
