wiring question

Ok so I have a scosche 5 gauge walmart power wire in my truck (extended cab) from a previous amp. Everything is already wired.

I just got a IDmax 12 and a 850W kenwood amp http://www.kenwoodusa.com/products/ListProduct.aspx?k1=2&k2=42&k3=155&pr=2013

Will the wiring kit I have in there work with this much power or should I change it out for 4 gauge? I really dont want to buy another power wire...

Keep in mind this is in a truck to the length of wire is around 10ft at most.

yeah you are fine, plus an upgrade to 4ga wouldn't do much anyways.

I have another question: what gauge speaker wire should I be running to the sub. It is a D4.

Anything from 12awg to 16awg should be alright...
