wiring question

i currently have a mrd-m1005 which is 1000 x 1 mono amp running a type x 12 but i thinkin about getting a 2nd amp and 2nd sub can i run a distrubiton block off the wire i have running already its 4 awg

Others may disagree (or not) but if you're running 2 1000 watt amps I would run 1/O from the battery to a dist block then run 4 gauge out of the block to the amps.
