alright so i just put in a reaudio sxx 15 on a brz 1200.1d, and its just not hitting as hard as it should. ive wired it to what i think is 1 ohm, its a dual 4ohm i connected the negatives and positives and connected the positive from one side to the amp and the negative to the other. got the low pass filter turned up and the the subsonic filter turned up about an 8th of the way up. turned the level up about3/4 the way up, and i have to turn the volume knob that came with the amp all the way up for it to make any sound. any ideas or help would be apprecieated

So you've got it at either 2 ohms or 8 ohms

How your woofer should be wired, and it will be doing 900rms out of 1000rms the RE Audios rated at.

ok well on the connections on the speaker they each say 2ohm, so maybe i was wrong about it being a dual 4ohm. but it still seems like it should be louder, used to have a fusion power plant 12 and it hit way harder than this is doing now

don't tell us dial positions, tell us what setting they are at - what number corresponds to the dial position.

pics of the amp/sub install? where/how is is grounded? power wire size? how did you terminate power wire at the battery? what voltage do you read at the amp supply terminals (VDC)?

as for the dials the only numbers are the first and last posisitions, the wire is 4 gauge, the amp grounded to the frame at my seats, i have side posts so i unhooked the hot cable and the amp power line is connected there, and i dont have a way to read the voltage. the box is just a prefab, had some stuff come up so i didnt have enough to have one built for me.

One issue could be the prefab, I know that when I had my box from Bestbuy it was not nearly as loud as when I built my own box, if you could spare a couple $100.00 someone here could make one and mail it to you, or Pro-Rabbit (I think thats whos doing it) might be doing pre-cut boxes that just need assembly.
