wiring problem

I am very confused on how to wire my subs in parallel mode. Do i get both posotives from one sub to the amp? or do i get all the posotives from both subs with one wire to the amp? or how do i wire this. i am new so plaese use small words. same goes for the negatives.

parallel for one dvc sub would be + to + To amp and - to - to amp, and if it was a dual 4Ohm sub you would end up with a 2Ohm load.

dvc subs

parallel

4Ohm + 4Ohm = 2Ohm

2Ohm + 2Ohm = 1Ohm

4Ohm + 4Ohm + 4Ohm + 4Ohm = 1Ohm

2Ohm + 2Ohm + 2Ohm + 2Ohm = .5Ohm

ok i under stood that, but if i had two of them do i have to hook them together? imm refering to do i have to run all 4 posotives to amp?( hook them both up with the same wire or do i do each seperatly?)

my box has a piece of wood in the middle am i gonna have to drill a whole through it? so i just hook it up to one of the amp outputs? my amp is mono does it matter which one i hook it up to?
