I checked all of my connections. I get between 12-13 volts from the power cable. The problem is once I plug the power and the ground wire into the amp it sparks, and eventually a fuse blows. My ground wire is about 2 ft long and never touches the power wire. The fuse that blow is not the inline fuse, but is the fuse on the amp. I tried connecting another amp, but the protection led is lit. And eventually the fuses blow on the amp also. If u can help please reply.

What you do is play the game of hot potato, You're not being very specific as to which order you're hooking the + and - wires up to the amp, you say once i plug the power and ground wire into the amp, which one is it that you plug in first? Make sure the electricity has a place to flow before you go putting + ions into the amplifier, causing the fuses to blow from excess collisions of electrons running into each other like morons because they can't leave through the ground...
