Wiring new HU to 2012 Ford F-150 XL, premium stereo, no sync or nav

Hey guys,

I'm trying to wire a new HU (pioneer 4000nex) to a 2012 Ford F-150, but I'm having no luck. I've wired a few HUs, but this one is giving me a lot of trouble. I got a wiring harness (one that crutch field says fits after entering my truck info) and wired it according to instructions. However I'm not getting any power to the HU. When I hit the ignition or have it in ACC I get nothing. Ive tried going through wiring diagrams but it seems every single one of them is different! I *think* I've determined that black/blue is ground, and grey/red is constant, but I can't find 12v ignition. Also I don't believe there's an illumination/dimmer required. The speaker wires I found and matched no problem. The weird thing is this wiring harness they have me has leads with wires that when attached to the orignal car harness connect with nothing! It's like there's leads in certain pin spots, but on the original car plug there is nothing connected to the corresponding pin. Plus there is three plugs going to the original radio, but the wiring harness only connects to one of those plugs. I'm completely confused here..

green with yellow stripe should be your ignition, have a multimeter handy its the best way not to blow fuses, which you may have already done. there are 2 green with yellow line its the lighter colored one.

if you dont have that setup then blue should be your accesory/switched/

if your truck is an XL or STX its pink/black. go figure the easiest truck to work on has changed to be rediculous in its radio wiring lol.
