I have 3 alpine type r 12" 4 ohm dual voice coil subs and as of right now I have a 1000 watt alpine mono amp at 2 ohms (yeah I know thats not enough my stupid fault) im lookin to either get there 2000 watt mono amp or if I could get another 1000 watt amp with another 12" sub and run 2 subs to each amp. my question is what would be the best decision to make and can 2 of the subs be brought down to 2 ohms to get the most out of the amp?
