wiring LOC in VW??

yea the bypass is fine and all but by just rewiring your speakers you can save the money of buying it, cus on an install i did the thing was rediculously priced.

to the poster though sorry cant help on its location

question, if i were to install a LOC to a car with a stock amp, but i was leaving the stock amp for the speakers, and just adding a sub\amp setup, would i splice the LOC to the INPUT wires (2 sets for front\rear) - basically the RCA inputs to the stock amp?

i think by looking at the harness\wiring diagram for that car, and the harness that goes into the amp i can figure what wire are input and what wires are output\power.

but is this how i could add an amp without adding a head unit or a crazy expensive harness?

you are supposed to wire LOC to the front\rear channels of the amplified signal i thought - so just splice them into the rear speaker channel... but i was wondering if i could do it before the amp. i can just as eaisly do it after.

oh yea i was told it doesn't matter if it's before or after it's amplified the LOC i got is from phrephial or how ever you spell that and can handle 40 or 60 watts per chan i doubt the factory speakers have more than that going to them
