Wiring for Alpine Amp and Sub Installation

Ok, I'm a noob here, but I have some questions.

I have an Alpine MRP-M500 monoblock amp that I am going to use to push one 10" Alpine SWR-1042d DVC 4 ohm sub. I need to know if anyone knows the best way to wire this setup to get the most longevity out of it. What gauge speakers wire should run from the amp to the sub?

Also, what is the best amp kit to use for the amp? What guage, and is there a specific brand of wiring kit that should be used. I keep on seeing the Streetwires PSK08Bi pop up on searches. Any thoughts on that one?

I also have an Alpine MRP-F250 4-channel amp that I'm going to use to push two sets of Alpine 6.5" SPS-600 speakers. What kind of amp wiring kit should be used for this?

Thank to anyone that can help me out.

wire the dual voice coils in parallel so your amp sees 2 ohm load. Use 12ga speaker wire from amp to sub. I would run 4 ga or lower from the battery to a distribution block and then next ga (6 or 8 if using 4ga) up from distribution block to both amps. Be sure the distribution block is the type with fuses which you want to use whenever changing wire ga. I have heard power and ground wire from Knukonceptz is good, but I have not used it yet personally.
