Wiring Estimate

If anybody here had their wiring done, can you tell me what was wired and how much just the wiring was? I need to get an idea. I really do not know how to wire and will soon need to be wiring 2 subs an amp and a deck.

For the deck it will about $15 for a wiring harness for your car.

As for the amp, it depends what gauge wiring you need based on how much juice you're running.

I'd say spend the extra couple of $$ and get it installed by a shop.

Shops aren't always that reliable. I've been to a lot where the people working there have no clue. Let everyone on here help you out and you can learn to do it then. Doing it yourself is the best way. Once you do it, then you know it like the back of your hand. Just ask around on here. What do u want to know how to wire first?

I dont know exactly how much you're planning on doing, but ill give ya a few estimates for wiring.

Amps - You can get wiring kits anywhere from around $40 to more than $100. You can also buy all the wires seperately from a shop. Power wire, ground wire, rca's and remote wire are what you need to hook up and amp, and of course speaker wire.

go to walmart, 30 bucks is their most expensive kit and im yet to find a problem with it after using it in 3 cars

Yah, u'll end up spending a lot more if you go to an audio shop and have them install.

What amp? Is it 4 channel or 2? Where are you mounting it? What kind of vehicle?
